The Bordeaux Splash pairs a Bordeaux resin cap and section with a clear demonstrator barrel. Polished chrome-tone trim finishes the pen, which Stipula makes in Florence, Italy.

It is a piston filler, filled directly from bottled ink. The nib is Stipula's V-Flex, a flexible stainless steel nib in a medium width. Press lightly for a fine line and harder for a broad one.
